Training
I have never dived before. Where should I start?
You can start directly with the Open Water course. To experience breathing underwater first, a one-to-one try dive is the more suitable first session.
Is the training one-to-one?
Most courses are taught one-to-one. For two participants, we arrange additional qualified supervision where possible.
What happens when I do not master an exercise immediately?
We break the exercise into smaller steps and repeat it. Certification is awarded once the required skills can be demonstrated safely and consistently.
Is certification guaranteed?
No. The course fee covers the agreed training, not a guaranteed certification.
Where does the training take place?
Depending on the course, training may take place in Rottenburg, Nagold, at Camping Erbenwald, Lake Constance, the Erzgrube site or a suitable indoor diving centre.
Health and equipment
Do I need a medical certificate?
Before the course, you complete a medical questionnaire. Relevant answers require medical clearance. A current diving medical certificate is generally recommended.
Do I need to buy my own equipment?
Standard rental equipment is included in many courses. Your own mask and, later, other personal equipment may be useful, but you do not need to buy them before your first course.
Can I simply hire a drysuit?
Only by prior arrangement. Anyone who has not previously used a drysuit requires an orientation or suitable training.
Scheduling and service
What happens in bad weather?
Rain alone is rarely a reason to cancel. In thunderstorms, storms, difficult entry conditions or other safety risks, we change the dive site or reschedule.
Do you have fixed opening hours?
No. Consultations, workshop drop-offs and visits to the vaulted cellar are by appointment.
Where can I park?
Depending on availability, directly outside or in the Altstadtgarage car park in Herrenberg.
When are the next cylinder inspections?
New dates are announced at short notice. You can already register your interest via WhatsApp.
