TDI filmed this course. It shows what the exercises actually look like: neutrally buoyant, horizontal, everything done deliberately. That is the level we work towards — and the reason the course takes the time it takes.
The film comes from the training agency. It only loads once you allow external media.
YouTube is only loaded after you allow external media. Until then no connection to YouTube is made.
Before the course we dive together and look at buoyancy, trim, ascents and how you handle your current equipment. Only then do we decide which configuration will be used in the course.
All of it is practised neutrally buoyant and horizontal. Not as a party trick, but because it is the condition for everything else: if you cannot hold your position, you cannot solve a task without silting out the site.
The foundation. You refine it in every session until it stops looking like an exercise and starts being how you dive. Without precise buoyancy there is no technical diving — that is not an opinion, it is the reason this course is built the way it is.
Up to six different kicks, each for a particular situation: frog kick, modified frog kick, back kick and others. Afterwards you move deliberately instead of somehow.
Controlled ascents, donating gas to your buddy, valve drills on a twinset, deploying a buoy. Practised until they still work when things get uncomfortable. That is the point of the drill.
What affects your buddy affects you. We do not dive next to each other, we dive with each other — agreed beforehand, attentive underway, debriefed together.
During the course you dive a twinset with a long hose and a second regulator on a necklace, and you learn why a wing is the buoyancy device rather than a jacket with more volume. All of it built so that something is allowed to fail. What you own, rent or simply try out first is agreed beforehand — and what the rental costs is fixed before you commit.
The course will demand something of you. It is still diving, but it feels different: every action has a reason, every decision is made in advance. Most people notice here for the first time how much fine work sits in the fundamentals they thought they had long since mastered.
The course stays within no-decompression limits and does not replace decompression training. Special rental equipment is agreed in advance and itemised separately if it is not included in the quotation.

Flat in the water, hands free, fins off the bottom: good trim protects the site, saves gas and keeps your head free for the actual dive. In this course you work on it until it stops being a skill and starts being how you dive.
